PTO information for Lakeside Jr. and Sr. High The mission of the Lakeside School District Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to work in conjunction with the faculty of each school to provide a diverse and wide-ranging educational environment. The environment created will allow all students the opportunity to excel academically, socially and physically, while improving the community within the school. The PTO will reinforce these opportunities by promoting parental involvement to foster educational values in the students.
PTO volunteers assist with many worthwhile programs throughout the year: * Student health screenings (vision, hearing and scoliosis) * Student CPR training * Student special needs, at Christmas and throughout the school year *ACE (All Created Equal) *Teacher appreciation snacks and meals * Classroom educational grants
PTO meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month. We encourage you to join PTO, attend monthly meetings, and volunteer. We welcome your involvement. You membership dues and donations are the only source of funding for these worthy projects and programs that benefit all Lakeside students and faculty. A brighter future for your child starts with your investment in their life today.
