Directions

Use the following address if using navigation systems:
Field #1 Lakeside - 2923 Malvern Avenue
Field #2 Lake Hamilton- 136 Oakbrook Road

It should be noted that schools are in session on Friday and there will be heavy traffic at both locations between 2:45 and 3:15. Please allow for the traffic when making plans.

 

To Lakeside Coming from Highway 70
-Follow Highway 70 West until exit 9, and turn west on Highway 270 (Malvern Avenue).  Coming from the north, you will see a stop light, and you should turn right.  Coming from the south, you will see a stop sign, and you should turn left.

-Follow Malvern Avenue about an eight of a mile, and turn right onto Lakeside Road (you should see a field with concrete barriers next to the road.

-Follow Lakeside Road until you see the baseball fields.

To Lakeside Coming from Interstate 30
-Turn west onto Highway 270 (Martin Luther King Express Way)
-Follow 270 for about 13 miles until you see Lakeside Road on your right.
(You're getting close when you go under a highway bridge.)
-Follow Lakeside Road until you see the baseball fields on your right.

To Lakeside Coming from Highway 7
-Turn east on Highway 270 (Martin Luther King Express Way)
-Follow 270 until it exits onto Malvern Avenue.
-Turn West on Malvern Avenue
-Go about an eight of a mile until Lakeside Road and turn right onto it.
-Follow Lakeside Road until you see the baseball fields

To Lake Hamilton On Highway 70
-Follow Airport Road (Highway 70), and take note of when it forks into Sunshine Road (stay on Airport Road).
-If coming from the West, turn right on Wolf Street.  If coming from the East, turn left on Oakwood Road.
-Follow Oakwood Road until you see the baseball field.

General Information  

1.  Single elimination.

2.  All games shall be seven (7) innings. (Unless ended by run rule.)

3.  A game shall end when, after five (5) innings of a seven (7) inning game, a team is ten (10)_ or more runs behind and has completed its turn at bat.

4.  Suspended games shall be started where left off.

5.  Keep helmets off field when not in use.

6.  Introduction of players prior to National Anthem (first game of each session).  Home team will line up on third base line as names are called.  Visitors will line up on first base line.

7.  There will be no time allowed for batting practice.

8.  Ten (10) minutes will be allowed for infield practice.  Home team first, with starters only.

9.  The higher seed will automatically be the home team.  If two teams have the same seed the team on the top of the bracket will be designated as home team.

10.  Home team will take dugout on third base line.

11.  Coaches must remain in coaches' box; to be there, they must be in uniform (no coaches' shorts).

12.  Occupants of players' bench will be limited to uniformed players, coaches, one scorekeeper and one bat boy. (ALL PLAYERS MUST BE IN THE DUGOUT)

13.  All players must wear baseball uniforms and shall wear protective and NOCSAE approved helmets when batting and while on bases.

14.  Teams must appear at least thirty minutes before game time.  Fifteen (15) minutes allowance before forfeiture.

15.  Players are to bring gloves off field when changing sides.

16.  Game balls will be furnished for the State Tournament only.

17.  Regional Winner and Runner-ups will be presented trophies.

18.  Coach must stay in the dugout while his team is on the field.

19.  No team shall be allowed to practice at tournament site during the State series.

20.  National Federation Rules will be used in the tournament.

21.  Each site will be governed by umpires before the game begins.

22.  If there is a conflict with one of both finals teams, the tournament director will notify the AAA office.
