Lakeside School District's Vision
The Lakeside School District is committed to helping all students grow through learning by preparing them for an ever changing world and by providing a learning environment which will facilitate the total development of each person.
Lakeside School District's Goals:
Goal #1
Increase the number of students performing on grade level and/or at or above the
proficient level on student assessment requirements, emphasizing student sub-group
populations.
Goal #2
Increase and emphasize the use of changing technology within the instructional
programs and administration through the appropriate assignment, training, and
support of personnel and the appropriate purchasing of equipment and software.
Goal #3
Improve and promote communication within the district and community.
Goal #4
Emphasize school safety through emergency planning and internal safe school procedures and
activities that promote the District's capacity for dealing with emergencies and the prevention of
violence.
Goal #5
Become more financially efficient through appropriate cost saving measures, budget
development procedures, and accounting practices.
Goal #6
Renovate existing and construct new facilities to meet the present and future needs of the
district.
